RESPECT Recognized as Best Practice Partner by Nonprofit Association of the Midlands
RESPECT’s staff and board have always been committed to nonprofit excellence and a high standard of ethical practice. Now, in addition to other recognitions for our demonstrated efforts in these areas, we now have the seal of the Nonprofit Association of the Midland’s Guidelines & Principles Best Practice Partnership. The process of becoming a Best Practice Partner includes completing an organizational assessment consisting of more than 250 criteria and verifying compliance in all legal matters. The assessment helps organizations evaluate their standards in 12 key areas: Communication; Evaluation; Financial Management; Fundraising; Governance; Human Resources; Information Technology; Planning; Public Policy & Advocacy; Strategic Alliances; Transparency & Accountability; and Volunteer Engagement.
