RESPECT Receives Grant from Fremont Area Community Foundation
RESPECT is pleased to announce that the Fremont Area Community Foundation has awarded RESPECT a grant to conduct 10 programs in the Fremont Area between now and May 2018! The Building Respect Through Theatre project is made possible in part by a grant from the Lester A. Walker Fund of the Fremont Area Community Foundation. Former owner and publisher of the Fremont Tribune, Lester Walker was a respected business leader, community promoter and philanthropist. He encouraged others to make their community a better place to live, and nonprofit organizations throughout the Fremont area have benefited from his charitable legacy.
This project grew out of requests for programs made to RESPECT by the Fremont community. RESPECT’s team then sought out grant possibilities that served their geographic area and submitted a request which was then fulfilled. If your school or organization would like to host RESPECT programs, but does not have the funding to do so, please contact us. We may have existing grants to help or we are happy to collaborate on writing grants to secure the funding that you need.
