RESPECT Partners With More Tomorrows Awareness Campaign

RESPECT is pleased to be a community partner of the More Tomorrows, an awareness campaign focused on suicide prevention in the Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare service area in Nebraska. We are working together to bring More Tomorrows through hope, help & healing to prevent suicide through public education, service announcements, presentations, events, and various communications. We are building awareness about More Tomorrows to educate people on the suicide warning signs to watch for in themselves and loved ones in hopes of lowering the suicides in our community. Suicide is a very real public health problem that impacts individuals from a variety of backgrounds and of all ages. On average, in the United States, there are 132 suicides per day. Suicide is preventable and anyone can help by knowing the warning signs, and what to do if you or someone you love is in a crisis situation.  The More Tomorrows initiative offers resources to know how to help including promoting the Suicide Lifeline – 800.273.TALK (8255).  Learn more at www.moretomorrowsne.org.
