RESPECT Participates in Domestic Violence Council Day of Sharing
On November 5, 2012, RESPECT particiapted in a Day of Sharing organized by the Domestic Violence Council of Greater Omaha. The day brought together organizations dedicated to preventing intimate partner violence and assisting those who have been affected by domestic abuse. RESPECT presented its Teen Dating Violence program, Cracked but Not Broken as well as data collected regarding the impact of that program. Other agencies that presented were Heartland Family Services, WCA, Practical Applications, and the Phoenix House. The Domestic Violence Council will work to create a website that becomes a one-stop resource for individuals looking for help.
