Meet RESPECT Actor Educator Jared Dominguez

What is your favorite RESPECT educational play?
My absolute favorite educational play thus far is Puppy Pals because it is such a fun and delightful show to do! It brings out a very fun and silly side of myself while strengthening certain skills that I wasn’t aware I had!

What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is traveling to different schools/areas and meeting new people. I enjoy it immensely because it’s always a new experience for me!

What is the best part of your interactions at RESPECT programs?
The best part of my interactions at RESPECT programs is hearing what the kids/young adults have to say. A lot of the programs we do allow for people to compare them to their own experiences and evaluate the options they have. It is very rewarding to be able to reach them, even if it is one person.

What is something that you’ve learned by being part of RESPECT?
One thing I have learned at RESPECT is that by listening, you learn more than by speaking.
