Local Band State Disco Collaborates with RESPECT to Address Bullying

State Disco, a band based in Omaha, reached out to RESPECT to collaborate on the production of a music video for their song History is My Teacher.  The song’s central message is that history teaches us that those who are bullied in their youth often wind up more successful later in life than the bullies. The lyrics attempt to inspire those enduring the cruelty of adolescent bullying to look to the future for strength.  The band will donate the proceeds from sales and streams of History is My Teacher to RESPECT for one year to help the organization fight bullying.
