KPAO Airs RESPECT Educational Plays and Panel Discussions
KPAO, Omaha’s Public Access Television station, has partnered with RESPECT to air our educational plays along with panel discussions bringing messages of healthy relationships to a broad audience throughout the Omaha-metro area. Thanks to KPAO’s services, RESPECT is filming several of its programs including “Stop & Think” about bullying, kindness, and impulse control, “The Bubbylonian Encounter” covering child sexual abuse, “Choices” focusing on mental health, “Cracked But Not Broken” about teen dating violence, “Standing Up” addressing LGBTQ bullying and homophobic banter, and “The Business End of Bullying” geared towards adults in the workplace. Each play is accompanied by a panel discussion featuring RESPECT’s Executive Director, Dr. Patricia Newman, actor-educators, and expert panelists from outside organizations such as Project Harmony, the Kim Foundation, and GLSEN.
“Our partnership with Respect has brought exceptional programming to our viewers,” said Michael Wallace, KPAO Studio Manager. “Their professional presentations make you think and reflect on life’s issues. I’m proud to work with the creative and hardworking staff of RESPECT”
Programs will air on Fridays at 6:00pm and Saturdays at 10:00am and can be tuned into on channel 22 on Cox Cable.
